Terms and Conditions
Swiss Cleaners provides dry cleaning and laundry services in-store and for delivery customers. It processes your account in accordance with your Customer Profile as provided on the reverse. The following terms and Conditions are an integral part of the Customer Profile and will be adhered to by Swiss Cleaners. Swiss Cleaners reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
Customer Profile: The information contained on the Customer Profile will only be used by Swiss Cleaners. It does not sell, or provide to third parties, its customer list or any information provided on the Customer Profile. While you are an active Swiss Cleaners’ customer, Swiss Cleaners requires you to keep the Customer Profile current. The Customer Profile enables Swiss Cleaners to better serve you by (i) processing your garments in accordance with your preferences; (ii) contacting you about garment problems; (iii) mailing special Swiss Cleaners promotional materials; (iv) accepting your personal checks without check verification; and (v) processing your credit cards.
In-Store Service: Swiss Cleaners provides dry cleaning and laundry services on a normal three-day turn around. Same day service is available upon request. To receive same day service on weekdays, dry cleaning and laundry orders must be received by 9:00 am and will be ready for pick-up after 4:30 pm.
Delivery Service: Delivery customers receive pick-up and delivery of dry cleaning and laundry twice weekly at no extra charge. The service days are as set forth on the Customer Profile and represent days on which Swiss Cleaners services the zip code in which you reside. Your dry cleaning and laundry will be picked-up and delivered in accordance. No pick-up and delivery service will be provided on holidays which Swiss Cleaners is closed. Drop-Off and Delivery Bags: Swiss Cleaners dry cleaning and laundry bags may be provided free of charge to Swiss Cleaners customers and to its delivery customers.
24-Hour Drop Off: Swiss Cleaners offers 24-hour drop off of dry cleaning and laundry through its drop box. To access the drop box you must enter the correct three digit code. You agree to use Swiss Cleaners’ drop box only for your dry cleaning and laundry, and to place the items in a Swiss Cleaners drop-off bag.
Care Label Instructions: To protect your garments, Swiss Cleaners follows the Care Label instructions on each item it processes. To the extent you desire to not have the Care Label instructions followed, a Garment Release is required and you assume all liability for the garment. If a Care Label is missing or has been removed from a garment, Swiss Cleaners will process the garment in accordance with guidelines for that type of garment established by the Dry Cleaning & Laundry Institute. Swiss Cleaners assumes no liability for garments that have missing or removed Care Labels.
Limited Liability: Swiss Cleaners assumes no liability for items left with Swiss Cleaners over 30 days and may dispose of them without liability. Any differences in the number of items brought to Swiss Cleaners versus the number returned to you, or any damage to an item, must be reported to Swiss Cleaners within 48 hours of pick-up or delivery of the item(s). Should Swiss Cleaners lose or damage a garment, Swiss will reimburse you with a Swiss Cleaners store credit at 10% of the retail value of the lost or damaged garment but only with a valid receipt of purchase.
